The dating show which sees contestants dating through separate pods and getting engaged before they\u2019ve ever seen one another, took viewers by storm.<\/p>\n
It led to the marriage of one our favourite TV couples Cameron Hamilton and Lauren Speed, and the split of\u00a0 many others \u2013 ahem, Diamond and Carlton.<\/p>\n
Two years since the show\u00a0 \u2013 which was produced by Kinetic back in 2018 \u2013 the cast are back for Love is Blind: After the Altar<\/a> to celebrate Lauren and Cameron and Amber and Barnett\u2019s anniversaries.<\/p>\n So, we know these two couples are still together, but what about the rest of the cast like Jessica and Mark, who had issues even before they got to the altar?<\/p>\n And what\u2019s happening with Giannina and Damian these days after she ran out of the church in that infamous runaway bride moment and fell over in her wedding dress?<\/p>\n Here\u2019s everything you need to know about the Love is Blind couples and where they are now.<\/p>\n Lauren and Cameron on Love Is Blind<\/strong><\/p>\n They became the very first couple to put a ring on it, after hitting it off from the moment they laid eyes on the shiny blue wall between them.\u00a0<\/span>So what\u2019s happening with Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton?<\/p>\n The couple seemed to only grow stronger after meeting face-to-face, with Lauren, 32, describing their bond as \u201csuper special\u201d during their time in Mexico.<\/p>\n She did, however, raise some concern about being in an interracial relationship, as Cameron, 28, is the first white guy she\u2019s dated.<\/p>\n Speaking about her family\u2019s worries, she said: \u201cIt\u2019s my life to live, and I\u2019ll just have to take whatever comes with that\u2026 If I have to make some people uncomfortable in the process, so be it.\u201d<\/p>\n Nevertheless the couple proved that love is surely blind, as they said \u201cI do\u201d on the finale show and got married for real.<\/p>\n Lauren and Cameron after the show<\/strong><\/p>\n Power Couple Lauren and Cameron are very much still together.<\/p>\n Following the show,\u00a0Lauren spoke to Elite Daily<\/a> saying: \u201cOh My God. We\u2019re so happy. At the beginning of Love is Blind At the Altar, we saw Giannina waking up in her bed alone, and on the second episode Damian went on a lunch date with Too Hot to Handle\u2019s Francesca Farago who he ended up bringing to the anniversary party.<\/p>\n Giannina says Damian and Francesca are just friends, however, things got very heated when she saw them together at the party.<\/p>\n Even Giannina\u2019s pals think she should probably try dating other people, with Diamond saying she\u2019s sure some guys would be interested.<\/p>\n Is it over for this couple?<\/p>\n Kenny and Kelly on Love Is Blind<\/strong><\/p>\n The couple seemed to take a slightly more mature approach to their relationship, with the pair discussing how they planned to fit their relationship into their everyday lives from the get-go.<\/span><\/p>\n And this didn\u2019t exactly go down well with the other contestants, who singled them out as being the ones most likely to stay together.<\/p>\n Kelly and Kenny\u2019s proposal was particularly cute, with them each covering their eyes despite not actually being able to see one another.<\/p>\n \u00a0\u201cI love you today, and that love will remain, but I can\u2019t wait to learn to love you even more,\u201d Kenny, 27, told her at the time.<\/p>\n But by the time their wedding day arrived, it seemed they were just on two different pages, with Kelly deciding not to marry him despite loving him.<\/p>\n An upset Kenny couldn\u2019t believe it, as he told the camera to stop filming him and admitted he didn\u2019t know if he could try with her again.<\/p>\n Kenny and Kelly after the show<\/strong><\/p>\n Kenny\u2019s Linked In shows he\u2019s moved to Charlotte, North Carolina for work, while Kelly lives in Atlanta. She admitted the show had shown her she friend zones good guys. Yes, they are!<\/p>\n The couple have been married for two years now and celebrated their anniversary with a joint party with Lauren and Cameron.<\/p>\n On Love is Blind After the Altar, they spoke about potentially starting a family. Amber revealed she\u2019s been diagnosed with epilepsy which has created some worries for them in terms of having a baby, while Barnett told the boys they\u2019re \u201cnot actively not trying.\u201d<\/p>\n What happened with Amber and Barnett on the Love Is Blind reunion special?<\/strong><\/p>\n So much. Amber had it out with Jessica, Barnett cleared the air\u2026 the pair were very honest about what had happened since the cameras stopped rolling and they moved out of their (apparently haunted) home. The couple said due to their shared stubbornness they have been learning how to communicate and work through things and \u2018be as a couple\u2019. Rest assured though, Barnett said they\u2019ve managed it and all is good. Amber did confess that at one point she was ready to call a divorce lawyer but stuck it out and both are very happy still married.<\/p>\n Carlton and Diamond on the show<\/strong><\/p>\n The first couple to call it quits, Carlton Morton and Diamond Jack walked away from the show before filming even finished. Things turned sour between them after Carlton put a ring on it and an emotional argument made them realise that they weren\u2019t right for each other.<\/p>\n Carlton felt that it was the right time to tell his fianc\u00e9e that he\u2019d previously dated people of \u201cboth genders\u201d, however, Diamond found this difficult to process and believed she should have been told earlier.<\/p>\n The couple\u2019s exchange got heated, and resulted in the pair deciding to end the experiment and leave the show as singles.<\/p>\n \u201cI have clearly realised this is not the woman for me,\u201d Carlton said in episode four, after their confrontation. \u201cShe has proven herself to be ignorant, she has proven herself to be stereotypical\u2026 I feel betrayed just as much as she feels betrayed.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI was about to walk down the aisle with someone that clearly I didn\u2019t know,\u201d Diamond then explained.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd I feel like, it shouldn\u2019t have got that way. I was really there just to talk to him and tell him how I felt\u2026 So it\u2019s a done deal with us.\u201d<\/p>\n Carlton and Diamond after the show<\/strong><\/p>\n Carlton seemed willing to try and be friends. He told People<\/a>: \u201cAt this point, whatever happens, happens. It would be great. But it takes time I think. I think we both have to still process the way we feel. We still have different views on the way things panned out and what was done wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n Diamond also seemed willing to talk.<\/p>\n \u201cWe have a lot of growing, both of us, to do and I am willing to grow. I love growing but I feel like we can at least come now to a medium and be able to sit and now talk because this is a very touchy subject. And both of us still get emotional about it. Even though it happened over a year ago, it still feels like it was yesterday,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n What happened with Carlton and Diamond on the Love Is Blind reunion?<\/strong><\/p>\n Carlton got emotional as he spoke about people\u2019s reactions to his sexuality. He and Diamond have got death threats since the show aired. Carlton defended his ex-fiancee against those who have called her homophobic or biphobic. Both seemed to realise their argument got out of hand in Mexico and forgave each other.<\/p>\n Carlton actually went as far as to get back down on one knee, but don\u2019t worry he wasn\u2019t proposing! While Diamond looked a bit shocked he got back out the ring and asked her if they could be friends and work from there. There\u2019s not much you can do when someone catches you off guard on TV but Diamond accepted and they hugged it out.<\/p>\n Update:\u00a0<\/strong>These two are still separated, and on Love is Blind: After the Altar, Carlton went off on Lauren about how he\u2019d been treated on the show.<\/p>\n Diamond is in a good place \u2013 career wise. She\u2019s started a new business and is open to dating. On the show, she brought a date to the joint anniversary party, and admitted she\u2019s ready to meet her \u201cking\u201d and find a \u201cfairytale\u201d love like Lauren and Cameron\u2019s \u2013 so cute!<\/p>\n Unfortunately, things didn\u2019t go well with her date, who left the party early as he wasn\u2019t feeling Diamond\u2019s friends.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is extremely hard to find a good quality man. I have been searching high and low.
