Since premiering on Disney Plus earlier this year, She-Hulk<\/a> hasn\u2019t been afraid to give a cheeky nod to the brand\u2019s past, whether its referencing Edward Norton\u2019s Bruce Banner<\/a> or including an Easter egg from the Daredevil series<\/a> \u2013 and now the Marvel spin-off has broken the fourth wall once again.<\/p>\n

In She-Hulk\u2019s most recent episode, Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) appears to acknowledge the rumours that General Ross will pop up once again in the MCU for a Red Hulk adaptation.<\/p>\n

While General Ross \u2013 a character that first appeared as an antagonist to Banner in 2008\u2019s The Incredible Hulk \u2013 was last played by the late William Hurt in 2021\u2019s Black Widow, there\u2019s been speculation amongst fans that Marvel will recast the role for a future project, with Harrison Ford one of the key names suggested to replace Hurt.<\/p>\n

In this week\u2019s episode, Jennifer breaks the fourth wall to guess what the twist at the end of the episode might be, jokingly saying: \u201cIs it the kind of twist that\u2019s like, \u2018Ooh, there\u2019s another Hulk, but this one\u2019s red!\u2019 Or like, \u2018I\u2019m getting fridged.’\u201d<\/p>\n

Although Marvel is yet to officially announce whether General Ross will be returning, some fans are guessing that he could make an appearance in Captain America 4, which will see Tim Blake Nelson reprise his role as The Leader \u2013 the villain from The Incredible Hulk.<\/p>\n

Over the last few weeks, She-Hulk has made several big moves for the MCU, with the show\u00a0teasing Charlie Cox\u2019s Daredevil<\/a> before introducing another mutant to the universe \u2013 Mister Immortal<\/a>.<\/p>

The character, who is often depicted as a joke in the source material, became the latest mutant to appear in the MCU after Professor X\u2019s Doctor Strange cameo<\/a> and \u00a0the revelation that Kamala Khan (aka\u00a0Ms Marvel<\/a>) also falls into this category.<\/p>\n
