In the seventh episode of the Prime Video<\/a> series, Galadriel<\/a> (Morfydd Clark) must survive in the aftermath of the volcanic eruption in the Southlands<\/a>.<\/p>\n During this, Galadriel is joined by the young human Theo (Tyroe Muhafidin) and the pair discuss the loss.<\/p>\n After telling Theo of losing her brother Finrod<\/a> (Will Fletcher), Galadriel also mentions losing her husband Celeborn in the war against Morgoth.<\/p>\n However, it should be noted that he left for the war and never returned \u2013 not quite that he was seen being killed.<\/p>\n Fans of the Lord of the Rings film trilogy<\/a> will recall Celeborn the Wise, played by Marton Csokas, opposite Cate Blanchett\u2019s Galadriel, and the character features in the central novels by JRR Tolkien.<\/p>\n So, could Celeborn appear down the line in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power?<\/p> Speaking to RadioTimes.com<\/a>, Morfydd Clark discussed Galadriel\u2019s grief over Celeborn.<\/p>\n Clark noted: \u201cI feel that she thinks that he is dead. But she hasn\u2019t mentioned it to anyone else but Theo.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd I took that as it\u2019s so painful to talk about \u2013 the fact that he might be gone \u2013 and so it\u2019s kind of even more so than her brother to a degree.\u201d<\/p>\n She added: \u201cSo I feel that when or if we meet Celeborn we will meet someone who truly knows Galadriel.\u201d<\/p>\n Meanwhile, showrunners JD Payne and Patrick McKay also teased Celeborn\u2019s eventual arrival in the show when speaking to RadioTimes.com<\/strong> and other press.<\/p>\n Payne said: \u201c[Galadriel] says she never saw him again\u2026 so we know there are things that the two of them do together in terms of progeny that they will issue, I could say, that\u2019s very important as well as the realms they will found and all kinds of things.<\/p>\n \u201cSo it would be very hard to believe that she would never see him again. But let\u2019s see.\u201d<\/p>\n There has been no word on any castings for Celeborn in the series, but if we don\u2019t see him in the finale then we can possibly expect him in the confirmed second season.<\/p>\n Celeborn the Wise was known as one of the great leaders of Elves in Middle-earth, acting as Lord of Lothl\u00f3rien, Lord of the Galadhrim, Lord of the Golden Wood, Lord of East L\u00f3rien, and Prince of Doriath.<\/p>\n He is the husband of Galadriel, the Lady of Lothl\u00f3rien and one of the bearers of the Three Rings.<\/p>\n In the lore of Tolkien\u2019s Middle-earth, Galadriel and Celeborn have a daughter named Celebr\u00edan who goes on to marry Elrond<\/a>.<\/p>\n Together, Elrond and Celebr\u00edan have multiple children, including Arwen Und\u00f3miel, the great love of Aragorn in the central trilogy.
