Following on from Ryan Murphy\u2019s series, DAHMER \u2013 Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story<\/a>, Netflix<\/a> is giving fans a further look into the Milwaukee serial killer\u2019s life in a new three-part docuseries titled\u00a0Conversations with a Killer: The Jeffrey Dahmer Tapes<\/a>.<\/p>\n Featuring never-before heard tapes with Dahmer himself and defence lawyer Wendy Patrickus, the documentary will examine Jeffrey\u2019s warped psyche after he was convicted of killing and dismembering 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991.<\/p>\n Jeffrey was born to Lionel and Joyce Dahmer and had a younger brother \u2013 who is mentioned in both the drama and documentary but didn\u2019t appear to be present during Jeffrey\u2019s trial.<\/p>\n So, who is Jeffrey Dahmer\u2019s brother?\u00a0Here\u2019s everything you need to know.<\/p>\n David Dahmer is the younger brother of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer.<\/p>\n He is more than six years younger than Jeffrey and according to Distractify<\/a>, the Dahmers let Jeffrey name his sibling.<\/p>\n Following Jeffrey\u2019s conviction, David essentially vanished. According to Esquire<\/a>, he never visited his brother in prison or attended court hearings.<\/p> By the time Jeffrey was arrested in 1991, David had graduated from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio. He reportedly decided to \u201ccut all ties\u2019 with his brother and is understood to now have a career, wife and at least two children.<\/p>\n During an interview on Larry King Live, Jeffrey and David\u2019s stepmother, Shari, shared very little information about her youngest stepson.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s very happy,\u201d Shari said.<\/p>\n That\u2019s believed to be the last time the Dahmer family talked about David publicly \u2013 and David, who now has a new name, has stayed silent.<\/p>\n There\u2019s no public record of David\u2019s new name, making it clear that he wants to live his life away from the public eye.<\/p>\n Conversations with a Killer: The Jeffrey Dahmer Tapes arrives on Netflix<\/a> on 7th October 2022.\u00a0Sign up for Netflix from \u00a36.99 a month<\/a>.
