John Ajvide Lindqvist\u2019s 2004 book Let the Right One In has already been adapted into two acclaimed films, but now, it has been reworked into a series debuting on Paramount+<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The show stars The Hateful Eight actor Demi\u00e1n Bichir as Mark, the father of\u00a0Eleanor, a girl who 10 years earlier was turned into a vampire, locking her in at the age of 12, perhaps forever.<\/p>\n

Mark does his best to provide Eleanor with the human blood she needs to stay alive, with the series exploring human frailty, strength and compassion through a horror and fantasy lens.<\/p>\n

Ahead of the series\u2019s debut, Bichir spoke exclusively with RadioTimes.com<\/a>, teasing that audiences can expect to be fully gripped at the end of each episode.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\""x_MsoNormal"\">\u201cYou will get what you like as an audience because if you, like me, like series, you want to be trapped at <span class=\""searchHighlight"\">the<\/span> end of every episode and you want <span class=\""searchHighlight"\">the<\/span>m to make you hungry for more,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd that is precisely what we have done. And that\u2019s precisely what you will feel and hopefully if you like it as much as we do, <span class=\""searchHighlight"\">the<\/span>n you will be back.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\""x_MsoNormal"\">Asked if this meant that there were big cliffhangers at the end of each instalment, Bichir added: \u201cThat\u2019s what a TV series is all about. <span class=\""searchHighlight"\">The<\/span>y have to have cliffhangers <span class=\""searchHighlight"\">the<\/span>re, and we have so many great cliffhangers.<\/p> <p>\u201cAnd because of <span class=\""searchHighlight"\">the<\/span> richness of <span class=\""searchHighlight"\">the<\/span> characters and <span class=\""searchHighlight"\">the<\/span> different elements that we have, and of course <span class=\""searchHighlight"\">the<\/span> wonderful cast who play those characters, you will fall in love with <span class=\""searchHighlight"\">the<\/span>m. We have all kinds of beautiful people for all kinds of tastes, you will see that.
