The Strictly pro<\/a> took to Instagram to address tabloid claims that he had threatened to quit due to being supposedly \u2018wasted\u2019 on the series this season.<\/p>\n Giovanni shared a screenshot of the story in question on his Instagram Stories<\/a> alongside the caption: \u201cLol I\u2019m not going anywhere!!!\u201d<\/p>\n His rep also denied the claims, telling The Sun<\/a> that he hopes for \u201cmany more years\u201d on the series and adding: \u201cGiovanni is not leaving Strictly. He loves the show and loves working with the BBC.\u201d<\/p>\n The dancer and celeb partner Richie Anderson<\/a> became the second Strictly couple to leave the competition<\/a> last weekend, following on from Kaye Adams and Kai Widdrington in Week 2.<\/p>\n The pair were in the bottom two alongside Fleur East and Vito Coppola, who ultimately received three of the judges\u2019 votes.<\/p>\n Giovanni won the competition last year, when he was partnered with EastEnders actress Rose Ayling-Ellis.
