Black Adam\u2019s release date is fast approaching, and now we have the first reactions to Dwayne Johnson\u2019s DC movie to prove it.<\/p>\n

Johnson plays the title role in the upcoming film, portraying a popular antihero from the comic books who is frequently depicted as a rival to\u00a0<\/span>Shazam<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>(Zachary Levi).<\/p>\n

The actor has long promised that Black Adam<\/a> will change the status quo in the DC universe and, judging by the early reviews for the movie, it seems he might be right.<\/p>\n

Early reviews have praised the film, with critics calling it \u201cepic on every level\u201d and a \u201cgame-changer\u201d while hailing Johnson\u2019s performance, calling it a role he was \u201cborn to play\u201d.<\/p>\n
