We\u2019ve already been told of several changes to Sex Education<\/a> ahead of its upcoming fourth season \u2013 with a number of stars<\/a> including Tanya Reynolds, Simone Ashley and Patricia Allison all announcing they have left the hit show.<\/p>\n

One cast member who isn\u2019t going anywhere is Maeve Wiley star Emma Mackey, but in a recent interview with RadioTimes.com<\/a>, the actor teased that her role might be a little reduced in the new run.<\/p>

Asked about the return to filming \u2013 which is currently underway in Wales \u2013 Mackey explained, \u201cIt feels very familiar! And it\u2019s a bit more sporadic because we have more characters. So there\u2019s\u2026 I\u2019m not in it as consistently.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut we\u2019re in the middle of filming now, and I\u2019m excited to be back,\u201d she added. \u201cAnd yeah, I\u2019m intrigued to know what\u2019s going to happen \u2013 because I also don\u2019t know. I\u2019m also finding out as we go along, so it\u2019ll be fun!\u201d<\/p>\n

One thing we do know about Maeve\u2019s storyline in season 4 is that she will interact with a new character played by Schitt\u2019s Creek\u2019s Dan Levy, who is playing a famous author who will serve as her tutor at her US college.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve filmed scenes together,\u201d she told Entertainment Tonight Canada<\/a> in a recent interview. \u201cHe\u2019s a delight. He is everything\u2026 I\u2019m so glad he\u2019s as nice as he comes off. So he\u2019s a real gem and I\u2019m really happy to work with him.\u201d<\/p>\n
