Dermot O\u2019Leary and Alison Hammond are already the This Morning dream team \u2013 but could they pair up to host the show that\u2019s on everyone\u2019s lips at the moment?<\/p>\n
With Big Brother<\/a> officially returning (this time on ITV2 and ITVX), it\u2019s yet to be seen who will take the reins as presenter, with former host Emma Willis ruling herself out<\/a> in an interview with RadioTimes.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n But there are already plenty of fans begging for former Big Brother winner Hammond to get the job.<\/p>\n When\u00a0RadioTimes.com\u00a0<\/strong>asked if he thought his This Morning co-host should take the helm for the BB reboot, O\u2019Leary (speaking on the red carpet at the National Television Awards) replied: \u201cIf she wants to be the next Big Brother presenter, 100 per cent she should be the next Big Brother presenter!\u201d<\/p>\n But he\u2019s not eyeing a return to the spin-off show.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t think so,\u201d O\u2019Leary said, when asked if he\u2019d like to return for the sister show.<\/p>\n A spot next to Hammond on the main programme, however? Sure!<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019d love to do it with her,\u201d he said, adding: \u201cBut they\u2019re probably casting younger.\u201d<\/p> Once a Big Brother fan, though, always a Big Brother fan.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m really excited about it being back \u2013 just as a fan!\u201d he enthused. \u201cI loved doing that show for so long.<\/p>\n \u201cI think Alison would be great at it!\u201d<\/p>\n Applications for Big Brother 2023<\/a> are now open, so it might not be too long until we find out who\u2019ll be taking on hosting duties when it finally returns to screens next year.
