Doctor Who fans don\u2019t have much longer to wait for Doctor Who: The Power of the Doctor<\/a> to land on screens. The episode will mark the last time Jodie Whittaker dons the longcoat, and she\u2019s \u201cstill crying\u201d<\/a> about it.<\/p>\n

At a recent press screening for the upcoming centenary episode, Whittaker revealed that in her haste to keep a reminder of her time in the TARDIS, she ended up breaking it before realising filming wasn\u2019t over yet.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo when me and Mandip [Gill] wrapped on the TARDIS, we heard, \u2018That\u2019s a wrap on the TARDIS\u2019 so we went all out,\u201d Whittaker explained. \u201cWe were yanking stuff out. When the TARDIS flies, there\u2019s a mini TARDIS that spins that has a light inside \u2013 I snapped it off.\u201d<\/p>\n

But as it turned out, the pair heard wrong. Whittaker continued:\u00a0\u201cThen [we found out] it wasn\u2019t a wrap on the TARDIS, it was a wrap on us<\/strong>\u00a0in the TARDIS, so we were going in for pick-ups and we were like, \u2018Um\u2026 awkward, you\u2019re going to have to shoot around that!’\u201d<\/p>\n

As well as the bits she managed to grab from the TARDIS, Whittaker revealed what other keepsakes she has from the set of Doctor Who.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cI\u2019ve got my costume and I\u2019ve definitely got my sonic. I nicked quite a few things early on, random things. I\u2019ve got quite a bit of furniture. When we wrapped on a set, I\u2019d be like, \u2018Is anyone using that chair? I love that chair!\u2019 so I\u2019ve got loads. I\u2019m a right hoarder.\u201d<\/p>
