<\/p>
After seven weeks of intense challenge, EastEnders actress Maisie Smith emerged from Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins 2022 as one of the four winners of the special selection process.<\/p>\n
Speaking exclusively to RadioTimes.com<\/a> following her win, the 21-year-old admitted to feeling \u201crelieved\u201d at the show coming to an end, adding it felt like \u201clife and death\u201d.<\/p>\n On the moment Rudy Reyes revealed that she\u2019d passed, she said: \u201cIt was a pretty amazing feeling. It was like nothing else because when you\u2019re there, it did really feel like life and death.<\/p>\n \u201cAll you wanted was to make it and I think my biggest fear on the show wasn\u2019t the heights, it wasn\u2019t the beatings, it was the fear of failing. So, I think at the end when I actually passed, it was just the most overwhelming feeling. I\u2019ve never felt anything like it!\u201d<\/p> Despite how difficult the experience was, Maisie never thought of giving up, saying: \u201cI think obviously there were moments where I thought this was so painful, almost torturous, like in the interrogation rooms where we had the headphones on and were being dunked in ice water.<\/p>\n \u201cBut it never crossed my mind to leave because I thought, \u2018I\u2019ll just hit myself\u2019. So I always had that thought in my head not to give up.\u201d<\/p>\n Nevertheless, she admits she would have been \u201cgutted\u201d if she didn\u2019t pass, following her final challenge, which she says was the \u201chardest\u201d one.<\/p>\n She added: \u201cI think I would have been gutted if they\u2019d have turned around and said, \u2018You haven\u2019t [passed].\u2019 I\u2019d be like, \u2018So you\u2019ve just made me climb that for nothing?’\u201d<\/p>\n Along with Ferne McCann, AJ Pritchard and Calum Best, Maisie managed to pass the selection process out of the 14 contestants in the Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins 2022 line-up<\/a>.<\/p>\n Looking for something else to watch?
