CoD Warzone and Black Ops – Cold War get their traditional weekly update this Thursday. <\/p>
It\u2019s Thursday once again and that means that it is update day for Call of Duty<\/a>: Warzone and Black Ops: Cold War and there are more store items, new playlists and a double weapon XP event set to take up much of our time over the weekend.<\/p>\n Now we are past the midway point of Call of Duty Season 4<\/a>, the fun does not look set to slow down with more big updates send to land over the next few weeks.<\/p>\n But when will the CoD update drop this week, and what exactly will it change in Warzone and Cold War? Read on for all the details.<\/p>\n The Thursday playlist changes for CoD fans almost always take place at 6pm<\/strong> UK time, with this week\u2019s instalment expected to drop at that exact time on Thursday 29th July 2021<\/strong>. It should be a nice little early evening treat, then. Maybe you can squeeze in a game before dinner?<\/p>\n Read more on shooting games:<\/strong><\/p>\n We are still waiting on the patch notes for this week, which normally come from a new post on the Activision Weekly Briefing blog<\/a>, but we have been able to find at least some of what is coming for the update this week.<\/p>\n For starters, we have the latest Gunfight tournamen<\/strong>t kicking off today and we are already looking forward to jumping back into that. And from tomorrow, July 30th, we have Double Weapon XP<\/strong> running in both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. Discounted Battle Pass tiers are also due but we are still waiting to hear more information about them.<\/p>\n Only a couple of changes on the playlist front this week with Combined Arms 24\/7<\/strong> returning to Black Ops Cold War while 3v3 Gunfight Snipers Only<\/strong> is coming in to replace Gunfight Blueprints.<\/p> And in terms of what\u2019s going on in the store, this is the latest intel we\u2019ve gathered on that front:<\/p>\n As ever, with all of these CoD updates flying around, servers may struggle and our home internet networks could feel the strain. If your update seems to be taking ages to download, try the usual tips: cancel or pause any other downloads and streams; move as close to your Wifi router as possible, and connect up to it with an ethernet cable if you can.
