Jodie Whittaker\u2019s time in the TARDIS is almost up, with Doctor Who: The Power of the Doctor<\/a> set to premiere later this month.<\/p>\n

In a press screening for the highly anticipated centenary episode, Whittaker opened up about her time on the beloved series and what she\u2019ll miss the most.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am going to miss \u2013 or I already miss, because it\u2019s been a year since I was on set,\u201d she said. \u201cEveryone talks about the family and it\u2019s a really big deal to me that where people work is a happy space, and me and Mandip [Gill] couldn\u2019t have asked for a happier space.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added: \u201cWe were around an extraordinary crew who made us laugh every day, who worked so hard in every department, and then the cast\u2026 everybody that came on threw their heart and soul into it.\u00a0But I think the main thing is, I got to hang out with her [Mandip] every day and I don\u2019t get to do that now and it makes me really sad. It was such a joy.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actor got teary as she continued: \u201cYou can\u2019t describe what it\u2019s like knowing you\u2019re in the best time in your life. It\u2019s such a weird thing. And we knew it. We knew it from the first week of filming \u2013 it\u2019s been the most special time.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t care, I\u2019m not even slightly embarrassed about crying about it!\u201d<\/p>
