switched to the big screen<\/a> instead of doing another season of the much-loved show, the writer also opened up about the upcoming Peaky Blinders spin-offs.<\/p>\nKnight had previously said that he would be handing over the baton to other writers for the spin-off projects, but that doesn\u2019t mean he won\u2019t be involved.<\/p>
\u201cI\u2019m going to set things up, and write things, and then it will go in its own direction,\u201d he explained. \u201cIt\u2019s a world, and we want that world to continue as long as there\u2019s an appetite for it.\u201d<\/p>\n
He also offered some insight into what kind of stories we can expect from the spin-offs, saying: \u201cIt\u2019s the same sort of thing, it\u2019s working class history, it\u2019s working class stories, let\u2019s keep it rooted in what really happened through the \u201940s and \u201950s and tell those stories and do justice to the drama and the glamour of working class life.\u201d<\/p>\n
