But here is the first time we\u2019re seeing her stand her ground and saying, \u2018OK, you know what? This is not going to work out. I\u2019m sorry,&#8217;\u201d Ramakrishnan recently told <a href=\"\/\/tvline.com\/2021\/07\/19\/never-have-i-ever-season-2-devi-paxton-maitreyi-ramakrishnan-interview\/&quot;\" target=\"&quot;_blank&quot;\" rel=\"&quot;noopener&quot; noopener noreferrer\">TVLine<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>When it comes to how the new relationship will pan out, the comedy star said she had no idea how it would pan out, revealing the cast \u201conly know a little bit in advance\u201d, however Jaren Lewinson, who plays Ben, recently revealed that he\u2019s excited to see how Ben deals with his feelings for Devi while in a relationship with Aneesa in season three.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a situation that we\u2019ve never seen him in. It\u2019s more suspenseful when we don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jaren Lewinson, who plays Ben, added that Ben may start to doubt his new relationship with Aneesa (Megan Suri). \u201cThat scene gave me goosebumps because I realised Ben has such an inner conflict that has just surfaced that he\u2019s now going to have to deal with.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019re thinking, OK, he\u2019s kind of got this relationship with Aneesa [Megan Suri] going on. And it\u2019s like, can he continue putting his heart into that? Or is his heart in a different place? And if it is, can he even do anything about it? How do you navigate that? I\u2019m really excited, fingers crossed, for season three to see that explored.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a situation that we\u2019ve never seen him in. Both of those girls have some really incredible qualities that Ben\u2019s really attracted to, and I think it\u2019s going to come down to what is going to make him a better person. Who\u2019s going to challenge him in specific ways, and who\u2019s going to make him feel seen?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Never Have I Ever star Maitreyi Ramakrishnan recently told <a href=\"\/\/variety.com\/2021\/tv\/features\/maitreyi-ramakrishnan-never-have-i-ever-season-2-1235021032\/&quot;\" target=\"&quot;_blank&quot;\" rel=\"&quot;noopener noopener noreferrer\">Variety<\/a> her top hope for a potential third season: \u201cI\u2019d like to see her [Devi] stand up for herself a little more and just speak her mind.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNot the way that she does already where she\u2019s doing it at the detriment of other people, but just, say how you feel when she\u2019s not feeling OK.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe got a glimpse of that in season two when she stands up to Paxton and says, \u2018OK then this is not going to work out. I\u2019m sorry.\u2019 That was a really nice beginning to something that could be really great, about her speaking her mind.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Beyond that, the writers will have to chart a future course for Devi and Paxton, after the young couple turned up to their winter dance together, making their romance public to the rest of the school \u2013 but will it last?<\/p>\n<p>On a more serious note, the show is likely to continue exploring Devi\u2019s grief, as she continues to grapple with the loss of her father in the first season.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Never Have I Ever season 3 trailer<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>There\u2019s no trailer for Never Have I Ever season three and we probably won\u2019t see one for quite some time given that the show is yet to be officially renewed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Never Have I Ever seasons 1-2 are streaming on Netflix.
