Aaron Carter has died at the age of 34.<\/span><\/p>\n The pop star and rapper shot to fame in the 1990s, and was the brother of Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter.<\/span><\/p>\n He was found unresponsive at his home in Lancaster, California on Saturday (5th November), TMZ<\/a> was the first to report and The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> confirmed.<\/span><\/p>\n A Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson told <\/span>THR<\/span> that a suspicious death took place at Carter\u2019s address, but could not confirm the identity.<\/span><\/p>\n Carter first gained recognition after opening for the Backstreet Boys on a 1997 tour.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n His debut album, Aaron Carter, was released later that year when he was just nine years old and sold a million copies worldwide.<\/span><\/p>\n His follow-up album, Aaron\u2019s Party, went triple platinum following its release in September 2000.<\/span><\/p>\n His most recent album, <\/span>L\u00d8V\u00cb<\/span>, was released in 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n Carter also starred in a number of reality TV shows, and appeared as himself in House of Carters, an E! series that followed the five Carter siblings as they worked to revive their careers.
