Lin-Manuel Miranda is joining Disney Plus<\/a>\u2018s upcoming Percy Jackson and the Olympians<\/a> as the Greek god Hermes.<\/p>\n

The Tony, Grammy and Emmy winner will star in the adaptation<\/a> of Rick Riordan\u2019s hit YA fantasy adventure series about Greek mythology, which follows 12-year-old Percy Jackson (Walker Scobell), who finds out that that he is the son of the Greek god Poseidon and begins training to become a hero at Camp Half Blood, a special training camp for demigods.<\/p>\n

Disney announced the news on Twitter, and added the caption: \u201cA message from the messenger god himself: <\/span>@Lin_Manuel <\/span>Miranda is Hermes in <\/span>#PercyJackson<\/span> and the Olympians, an Original series coming to <\/span>#DisneyPlus<\/span>!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
