The Love Island contestant shocked his fellow islanders with news of his royal connections <\/p>
While we already knew Teddy Soares<\/a> was the Prince Charming of the Love Island<\/a> villa, it turns out he was an actual<\/em> prince in Nigeria.<\/p>\n In a clip from last night\u2019s episode of Love Island: Unseen Bits, Teddy revealed that he was once technically a prince of Nigeria\u2019s Delta State until his grandfather\u2019s death removed the royal connection.<\/p>\n Whilst chatting to now-dumped islander Aaron Francis<\/a> and Tyler Cruickshank<\/a> about their Nigerian heritages prior to Casa Amor<\/a>, Teddy dropped the major news, saying: \u201cI\u2019m going to say something so shocking \u2013 I\u2019m actually a prince of one of them.<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019re a prince of what? Sorry?\u201d Lucinda Strafford<\/a> said, before Faye Winter<\/a> added: \u201cSorry, one more time, just run it past me.\u201d<\/p> \u201cIt\u2019s like a village, it\u2019s within the Delta State village. So my grandad has obviously passed away so I\u2019m no longer actually prince, I was a prince,\u201d Teddy said, before Faye reacted in disbelief with: \u201cStop it!\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cTeddy was a prince! Are you joking? I mean I\u2019ve definitely got to stop with the burping now.
