It was quite the eventful weekend for Strictly Come Dancing 2022<\/a>, with former footballer Tony Adams<\/a> having to leave the competition<\/a> due to injury.<\/p>\n Tony was set to perform in Sunday\u2019s dance-off against Tyler West<\/a>, with the Arsenal pro and his partner Katya Jones landing at the bottom of the Strictly leaderboard<\/a> following their Jive.<\/p>\n On Sunday night, Tony took to Twitter to apologise to fans for having to pull out of the show, saying: \u201cThere comes a point when you can no longer ignore medical advice, and very sadly my point came tonight. Sorry I couldn\u2019t dance off against my friend [Tyler West]<\/span>, but thank you thank you to ALL [at BBC Strictly] who made this into an unbelievable joyful, tough and exhilarating eight weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n There comes a point when you can no longer ignore medical advice, and very sadly my point came tonight.
