Starring Richard Armitage once more, the new series poses the question of how much you can ever really know someone.<\/p>\n
Based on New Jersey writer Harlan Coben\u2019s New York Times bestselling novel<\/a> of the same title, the new thriller previously went into production this Spring, before wrapping in late July.<\/p>\n Featuring the likes of Deadwater Fell\u2019s Cush Jumbo, Sarah Parish, and James Nesbitt alongside Armitage, the eight-part series follows three people whose dark secrets resurface.<\/p>\n Read on for everything you need to know about Stay Close.<\/p>\n It\u2019s not year clear when Stay Close is scheduled to premiere on Netflix<\/a>. However, we know that a COVID-safe table read took place in early February 2021.<\/p>\n The series went into production in Spring 2021 and wrapped later in the year in late July, so we might expect the series to air later in the year or at the start of 2022.<\/p>\n That\u2019s a wrap on @HarlanCoben<\/a>\u2019s #StayClose<\/a> ???? The thriller follows three people living comfortable (yet not entirely satisfactory) lives, and who are all concealing dark secrets.<\/p>\n The three individuals are Megan, a working mum of three; Ray, a failed documentary photographer; and Broome, a detective haunted by a missing person\u2019s cold case.<\/p>\n However, when Megan\u2019s old friend Lorraine impacts some shocking news, all three characters\u2019 lives will be impacted, as secrets return to haunt them.<\/p>\n The series is created by Nicola Shindler, Harlan Coben, Danny Brocklehurst, Richard Fee\u00a0and Netflix, the same team behind smash hit The Stranger, Safe, and The Five.<\/p>\n Armitage said: \u201cI can\u2019t wait to return to Manchester to work with Nicola, Danny, Harlan and the team again. I love Harlan\u2019s style and this plot and character will be brilliantly challenging.
