Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) left the village in tonight\u2019s Emmerdale<\/a> (14th November), needing space after a turbulent few weeks for her family.<\/p>\n

Just last week, Moira learned that her husband Cain (Jeff Hordley) was covering for his young son Kyle (Huey Quinn), who had shot and killed Al Chapman<\/a> (Michael Wildman). Cain was arrested for murder after being found standing over the body, and he subsequently pleaded guilty in court.<\/p>\n

Knowing her husband as well as she does, Moira was suspicious that Cain wasn\u2019t putting up a fight for his freedom \u2013 but she soon wished he hadn\u2019t revealed the truth. With Kyle\u2019s mum Amy Wyatt (Natalie Jamieson) having heard the real story from the little boy, the two women vowed to protect Kyle<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But when the pressure of keeping the secret coincided with troubled Kyle\u2019s behaviour spiralling further, Amy took her son and fled. Moira confided in her brother Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) in the aftermath, while her son Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) was upset that girlfriend Amy hadn\u2019t contacted him.<\/p>\n

Tonight, Moira visited Cain in prison and explained how much she was struggling with the weight of what had happened. Cain urged her to carry on as Moira added that she wished she could do the same thing Amy had.<\/p>\n

Back at the farm, Moira told Mack that she needed to come clean to Matty about Amy\u2019s motivations for leaving. But when Matty returned, he was all smiles as Amy had called him. She revealed that she and Kyle were now in Belfast, and that she just needed time to come to terms with the revelation that Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) is her sister<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Relieved, Moira stayed silent and packed her and son Isaac\u2019s things to leave. Mack promised to look out for Matty and keep things going at Butler\u2019s, and she and Isaac left to go and find Amy and Kyle. But what happens next? Will Moira be back?<\/p>

Robb has already confirmed that yes, Moira will be back<\/a>. \u201cShe gets her head round it,\u201d said the actress when asked if Moira can cope long-term.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe comes back from Belfast and says \u2018it was a blip,\u2019 she\u2019s okay now and she says \u2018We can make it work, we will make it work.\u2019 She doesn\u2019t really know deep down whether that is something she can do. But at this stage she thinks \u2018I\u2019ve got to give it everything,\u2019 because it\u2019s the love of her life and she\u2019s got a family [with] him.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe had a scene together where she says to [Cain] \u2018I\u2019ll do everything I possibly can to keep this family together.\u2019 That\u2019s always been Moira\u2019s thing, she\u2019s fierce about her family.\u201d<\/p>\n

So, fans can rest assured that this isn\u2019t the last we\u2019ll see of the character. But when can we expect to see Moira again? Well, Robb teased that she has been filming festive scenes, so it looks like Moira will be home in time for Christmas, at least!<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re already filming the Christmas episodes right now, and I have the Christmas tree in the house. I\u2019m like \u2018Oh my goodness, it\u2019s all going so fast!\u2019<\/p>\n

Of course, the star isn\u2019t able to give anything away beyond the fact that Moira and Cain will be involved in Emmerdale\u2019s Christmas episodes \u2013 but once she\u2019s on a break from filming, she\u2019s planning on watching it all unfold with the rest of us.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s going to be an exciting time, I\u2019m looking forward to seeing it on screen when I get the chance to play catch up.\u201d<\/p>\n
