The television personality, who initially rose to fame on ITV2\u2019s Love Island, has previously discussed her \u201cdevastating\u201d reason for leaving the show<\/a>, after a routine blood test revealed she was anaemic.<\/p>\n Following a trip to A&E for further examination, Attwood was ultimately released with a \u201cclean bill of health\u201d, but for insurance reasons was not able to re-enter the I\u2019m a Celebrity camp<\/a>.<\/p>\n The reality star was distraught to have her jungle journey cut so short, joining Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on today\u2019s episode of This Morning to discuss the matter further.<\/p> \u201cI saw things online saying, \u2018I bet she fainted\u2019 but there was nothing\u2026 I was loving it [in the Jungle] as you can see, I was really in my element and I felt healthy so I was even more confused. It was all really strange,\u201d she told the presenters.<\/p>\n \u201cI now know the conversations went on all through the night with production obviously desperate to have me back in, but the medical team\u2026 I think it\u2019s an insurance thing.<\/p>\n \u201cBecause they had those readings, they had to seek other party opinions and it\u2019s a collective decision. I think they thought the readings might drop that low again and they wouldn\u2019t be covered because it\u2019s already been flagged up.\u201d<\/p>\n Attwood went on to say that she is disappointed not to have the chance to show a \u201cdifferent side\u201d of herself, as the first Love Island contestant to enter the jungle and someone who is \u201cnot scared of much\u201d.<\/p>\n If given the opportunity, it appears she would sign up for the show again, but it remains to be seen whether that will come about now given the medical risks involved.<\/p>\n \u201cIt might be more of a logistical thing to make it work,\u201d she explained. \u201cI would love to because, yeah, it was cut short\u2026 I\u2019m grateful that I\u2019m healthy, but it makes it harder to accept. But it is what it is, there are worse things happening in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n Earlier today, I\u2019m a Celeb co-host Anthony McPartlin responded to calls for Attwood to return next year on an Instagram Live (via Mail Online<\/a>).<\/p>\n He commented: \u201cThat\u2019s not a bad idea! I\u2019m going to put that to the powers that be at the end of this show and hopefully I\u2019ll have an answer sometime tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n I\u2019m a Celebrity\u2026 Get Me Out of Here continues tonight at 9:15pm on ITV.
