Brazil were many people\u2019s favourites to go all the way in the desert prior to the tournament, though shock wins for Saudi Arabia and Japan over Argentina and Germany should put them on high alert against any upsets.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Cristiano Ronaldo re-enters the limelight with Portugal and will be keen to turn attention back to the football following his departure from Manchester United in midweek.<\/p>\n
