The new game show, which is based on the Dutch series De Verraders, sees 22 strangers attempt to win \u00a3120,000 at a Scottish castle by working out which of the group are the traitors \u2013 the saboteurs within the competition who pick off their fellow players one by one.<\/p>\n
Speaking to RadioTimes.com<\/a> and other press ahead of the show\u2019s launch, Winkleman compared hosting Strictly to her new gig, saying that she does \u201cmiss\u201d taking on a darker demeanour.<\/p>\n \u201cI miss that. I have to be so smiley on Strictly. \u2018Oh a five\u2019s not bad from Craig [Revel Horwood], well done. At least it\u2019s not a three.’\u201d<\/p>\n She added that when it comes to hosting The Traitors, she can\u2019t be as friendly with the contestants as she is with the Strictly celebrities.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m kind to [the contestants] sometimes. I wish the best for them and I try and look after them, but it\u2019s quite difficult because I can\u2019t say anything. I love Strictly, I love both.\u201d<\/p>\n As for her outfits on The Traitors, Winkleman said they were \u201cquite something\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s a girl who\u2019s in charge and she\u2019s called Sinead and we sort of went Princess Anne meets Ronnie Corbett meets Madonna when she was with Guy [Ritchie].\u201d<\/p> She added: \u201cBut at one point I\u2019m wearing a cape.
