Hit Sky series Gangs of London<\/a> has officially been renewed for a third season, just over a month after the second run was released.<\/p>\n

The show stars \u1e62\u1ecdp\u1eb9 D\u00ecr\u00eds\u00f9 and Joe Cole as Elliot Finch and Sean Wallace<\/a> respectively, with season 2 continuing to drop major revelations as the brutal power struggle between London\u2019s organised crime syndicates continued.<\/p>\n

The news that the series would be returning was first confirmed with a short video on Twitter, which saw bullet holes appearing in a red backdrop alongside the caption: \u201cNews just in, gangsters\u2026 #GangsOfLondon series 3 is confirmed.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the end of last year, D\u00ecr\u00eds\u00f9 told RadioTimes.com<\/a> that while he was hoping for a third season, he and the team would be taking things \u201ca step at a time\u201d<\/a>, adding that he wanted to \u201cfinish the [second] season, see how people respond to it and wait for the green light for third \u2013 if there will be one\u201d.<\/p>\n
