The first season of Netflix<\/a>\u2019s Firefly Lane left fans clamouring for more back in February 2021 when it ended on a huge cliffhanger.<\/span><\/p>\n Fortunately, a second season of the friendship saga between Tully (Katherine Heigl) and Kate (Sarah Chalke) is almost upon us.<\/span><\/p>\n Based on <\/span>Kristin Hannah\u2019s book<\/span><\/a> of the same name, the\u00a0<\/span>first season followed the longtime best friends through 30 years of love, laughter, heartbreak and divorce, with their strong friendship as the one constant \u2013 until the season 1 cliffhanger revealed a mysterious rift sometime during the early 2000s and left the pair at an emotional crossroads.<\/span><\/p>\n Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke are returning as the friendship duo, as well as\u00a0<\/span>Ali Skovbye as Teenage Tully and\u00a0<\/span>Roan Curtis as Teenage Kate.<\/span><\/p>\n They\u2019re joined by a handful of new cast additions including<\/span>\u00a0India de Beaufort (Charlotte), Greg Germann (Benedict), Jolene Purdy (Justine), and Ignacio Serricchio (Danny).<\/span><\/p>\n Here\u2019s everything we know so far about the second season of Firefly Lane.<\/p>\n Firefly Lane season 2 will premiere on Netflix on 2nd December 2022.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The first nine episodes will land on that date.<\/span><\/p>\n There will be seven more episodes, which Netflix has announced will launch at some point in 2023.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Firefly Lane was renewed for a second season in May 2021.
