The Mandalorian star has revealed that it won’t be long until the cast and crew reunite for season three. <\/p>
Fans of The Mandalorian<\/a> have been desperate for any season three news since watching Baby Yoda head off with Luke Skywalker at the end of season two \u2013 and thankfully Giancarlo Esposito has now provided an update on when production will begin.<\/p>\n The Star Wars spin-off star, who plays Galactic Empire villain Moff Gideon, recently told WRAL.com<\/a> that, with filming for the upcoming Boba Fett series now finished, it won\u2019t be long until the cameras start rolling for The Mandalorian season three.<\/p>\n \u201cThey just finished shooting Boba Fett and soon they will start on season three,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n While Pedro Pascal, who stars as the titular bounty hunter, is currently filming The Last of Us<\/a> in Canada, Esposito added that his absence wouldn\u2019t stop filming from going ahead.<\/p> \u201cWe never have to wait on Pedro,\u201d he said, before adding that he didn\u2019t know whether we\u2019d be seeing more of Din Djarin\u2019s face in the upcoming season.<\/p>\n \u201cI can\u2019t speak to that. I know he\u2019d love to be more off the helmet, but you know, his job is to be in the helmet. You know what I mean? That\u2019s the deal.\u201d<\/p>\n While showrunner Jon Favreau revealed back in October 2020 that production on The Mandalorian season three was on track to start filming before the year\u2019s end<\/a>, it seems as though shooting season three has faced delays since then.<\/p>\n Series two of the Disney Plus show arrived on the platform in October last year and has since been nominated for five Primetime Emmy awards, including Outstanding Drama Series.<\/p>\n The Mandalorian seasons 1-2 are available to stream on Disney Plus.
