Only Fools and Horses has firmly remained one of the most beloved sitcoms of all time, despite first airing more than 41 years ago.<\/p>\n

But it appears it hasn\u2019t only left an indelible mark on its fans. Star David Jason, who played market trader and petty criminal Del Boy, loves it just as much.<\/p>\n

During a chat in this week\u2019s issue of Radio Times magazine<\/strong>, the actor revealed he \u2018misses\u2019 the series and said that working on it didn\u2019t actually feel like work.<\/p>\n

\u201cI miss it terribly. It wasn\u2019t like going to work; it was going to have some fun with your mates. We loved each other.\u201d<\/p>

Jason did go on to say that his friendship with co-star Nicholas Lyndhurst, who played Del Boy\u2019s brother Rodney, has changed over the years.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s much more \u2013 how can I say? \u2013 self-contained, perhaps, than he used to be. So, unfortunately, we don\u2019t see each other as much as I would like to. But that\u2019s how things work out sometimes,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Jason also revealed he still has Del\u2019s oxblood leather bomber, and \u201cbrings Derek Trotter back to life\u201d when he pairs it with a red pullover and tweed flat cap \u2013 but that\u2019s not the only way he gets back into character.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cI do morph into Del sometimes to make people laugh. I enjoy it. I realise it\u2019s a pretty low shot, but it makes life easier for me on occasion. When I meet people sometimes, they\u2019re a bit stiff and awkward to get on with!\u201d<\/p>\n
