Meghan says they were told what to expect during the interview, explaining: \u201cYeah, but also like, \u2018Then there\u2019ll be a moment where they\u2019ll want to see the ring, so show the ring\u2019\u2026 We weren\u2019t allowed to tell our story because they didn\u2019t want [it].\u201d<\/p>\n
Harry added: \u201cWe\u2019ve never been allowed to tell our story.\u201d<\/p>\n

During BBC Radio 4\u2019s Today programme, Husain could be heard chuckling about Meghan\u2019s allegations as her co-presenter Justin Webb joked that she was the \u201corchestrator\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe know recollections may vary on this particular subject, but my recollection is definitely very much: asked to do an interview and do said interview,\u201d Husain continued.<\/p>\n
Webb replied: \u201cYou\u2019ve told your truth.\u201d<\/p>
Back in November 2017, Harry and Meghan sat down with BBC News for a candid interview in which they discussed details of their relationship, proposal and upcoming nuptials.<\/p>\n
On their engagement, Harry said sweetly: \u201cIt happened a few weeks ago, earlier this month, here at our cottage; just a standard typical night for us.\u201d<\/p>\n
Meghan added: \u201cJust a cosy night, it was\u2026 [We were] trying to roast a chicken and it [was] just \u2013 just an amazing surprise, it was so sweet and natural and very romantic. He got on one knee.\u201d<\/p>\n
