<\/p>
Watch out Coronation Street<\/a> residents: there\u2019s a feisty new female coming to the cobbles.<\/p>\n In the coming weeks, we\u2019ll get to meet Daisy Midgeley\u2019s (played by Charlotte Jordan) mum, who\u2019s set to be played by Amy Robbins.<\/p>\n Viewers will come to understand just why Daisy is as no-nonsense as she is when we see her interact with her mum \u2013 it\u2019s safe to say there\u2019s probably going to be a few explosions.<\/p>\n Jordan opened up on Daisy\u2019s relationship with Christine at a recent press event, attended by RadioTimes.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s very fractured and distant,\u201d Jordan admitted.<\/p> \u201cShe hasn\u2019t really had a relationship with her since she was extremely young. And because she\u2019s 26, now it\u2019s not something where she\u2019s just like this ball of anger.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s something where she\u2019s sort of accepted that this is the relationship and actually she\u2019s just more of a nuisance, because she just pops up every now and then and doesn\u2019t really give her much.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s just more of a, \u2018What do you want? Why are you here?’\u201d<\/p>\n Jordan added: \u201cI think it helps viewers for sure.
