While the remaining players were angered at the potential unfair advantage they had if one of them were a Traitor, Tom has revealed that a \u201cvery strict\u201d rule would have stopped them from disclosing their Traitor status to each other.<\/p>\n
Speaking to RadioTimes.com<\/a> in an exclusive interview, the 24-year-old magician said that a Traitor secretly revealing themselves to a Faithful would \u201csacrifice\u201d the prize pot.<\/p>\n When asked whether he would have told Alex if he\u2019d been chosen as a Traitor, Tom said: \u201cThat\u2019s against the rules.<\/p>\n \u201cWe were very, very clearly told that like even though we\u2019ve got our alliance there\u2026 you\u2019re not allowed.\u201d<\/p>\n He continued:\u00a0\u201c[Our relationship] can be seen as unfair game \u2013 I think that\u2019s another nice reason that I thought it had to come out as like, let\u2019s be honest, people at home are angry that we\u2019ve got competitive advantage and all that jazz.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat if I was a Traitor and she was a Faithful and I was just keeping her alive the whole time? It\u2019s very unfair, especially if she knows.\u201d<\/p>\n He added: \u201cSo, no, you\u2019re not allowed. That was the very strict rule. You would sacrifice the prize pot and could get taken out of the game.
