Developer reveals how many hours you\u2019ll need<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Mikey Spano from Squanch Games told us that <strong>High on Life will take \u201c10 plus hours, at least\u201d to beat<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Spano noted: \u201cIt\u2019s hard to say how big the game is because it\u2019s so variable to what you do. And there\u2019s moments in between bounties where you can just go off and explore and do side missions and stuff like that. So I couldn\u2019t even tell you [exactly], we\u2019re still honing it, but my guess is it\u2019s gonna be 10 plus hours, at least.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Spano went on to say: \u201cI\u2019m trying to think of like, all the stuff you can do. There\u2019s so much somebody can do. Like, I\u2019m surprised when I play. I\u2019m like, \u2018I never saw that! I didn\u2019t know you can do that.\u2019 Because the team is so passionate, they\u2019re just like, \u2018We gotta get this cool thing in.&#8217;\u201d<\/p> <p>Spano also said there are hours of content you can just sit and watch in the main character\u2019s home: \u201cThere\u2019s like four full-length movies. There\u2019s countless inter-dimensional cable shorts [a familiar concept to Rick and Morty fans], probably like seven plus hours of content, you can just sit and watch on the TV. It\u2019s great.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On top of that, he added: \u201cThere\u2019s a movie theatre, you can teleport in. You can go in and watch movies, and there\u2019s aliens in there, like, commenting on the movies. And this is the Red Letter Media guy. So there are aliens in the there, you can just sit in the theatre and listen to them riff on the movies as you\u2019re watching. It\u2019s pretty cool.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And on top of <em>that<\/em>, he said there\u2019s puzzles, too.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s these narrative bases and puzzles you can warp in. In like the same way you can warp your house in, you can warp in different bases, and like, those bases have crazy stuff, like super weird non-equiturs and stuff. There\u2019s a ton of content.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Spano also noted later in the interview that replaying the game will be worthwhile, because each different gun has a different story to tell.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou can play the game all the way with Kenny, if you want, to hear all this dialogue. You can play with Sweezy, different dialogue. It\u2019s like the whole game is meant to be replayed.
