Following the announcement that No Time to Die<\/a> would be Daniel Craig\u2019s Bond swan song, speculation has been rife about who might slip on the tuxedo next.<\/span><\/p>\n A long list of potential 007s<\/a> has been floated in the interim including <\/span>The Witcher<\/span><\/a>\u2019s Henry Cavill, <\/span>Bridgerton<\/span><\/a>\u2019s Reg\u00e9-Jean Page, <\/span>Luther<\/span><\/a>\u2019s Idris Elba, Bodyguard\u2019s Richard Madden and <\/span>Outlander<\/span><\/a> star Sam Heughan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n However, fans may finally have their answer in Taylor-Johnson<\/a>, who is the current bookies\u2019 favourite<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n So, will Aaron fill the empty pair of suave spy shoes left by Craig? Read on for everything you need to know.<\/span><\/p>\n Aaron emerged as a surprise frontrunner ahead of other names said to be in the mix after it was reported that he has already filmed footage as Bond for the series\u2019 007 opening gun barrel scene.<\/span><\/p>\n The 32-year-old actor is said to have impressed in a secret audition for producer Barbara Broccoli at Pinewood Studios in November 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n An apparent source told The Sun<\/a>:\u00a0\u201cBosses at the brand were really impressed with his unique blend of acting intensity and his impressive back catalogue of action films.\u201d<\/p>\n Aaron is known for his roles in 2008 comedy Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging and in 2009\u2019s Nowhere Boy as a take on John Lennon, but has also proved himself as an action star through roles in the Kick-Ass movies, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Tenet.<\/p>\n Elsewhere, he has starred in Bullet Train<\/a> opposite Brad Pitt, as well as Nocturnal Animals and Outlaw King.<\/p>\n Bond producer Michael G Wilson announced in October that the team were gravitating towards a \u201cthirty-something\u201d<\/a> in line with the franchise tradition.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ve tried looking at younger people in the past but trying to visualise it doesn\u2019t work,\u201d he told Deadline<\/a>.<\/p>\n He continued: \u201cRemember, Bond\u2019s already a veteran, he\u2019s had some experience \u2013 he\u2019s a person who has been through the wars, so to speak. He\u2019s probably been in the SAS or something.
