It wouldn\u2019t be Christmas without BBC One\u2019s Call the Midwife<\/a> special and this year, fans can expect it to be \u201cmagical\u201d, according to the period drama\u2019s cast.<\/p>\n In a video shared by Call the Midwife on Twitter, stars Stephen McGann (Dr Patrick Turner), Laura Main (Nurse Shelagh Turner) and Max Macmillan (Timothy Turner) revealed what they love most about filming the festive specials ahead of this year\u2019s airing \u2013 with all three loving the fact that they experience Christmas twice a year thanks to the show.<\/p>\n \u201cThe funny thing about Christmas specials is they\u2019re not like anything else,\u201d McGann said. \u201cAnd we know that we feel it.
