There\u2019s a newcomer in Emmerdale<\/a> village in the form of new Manny, Nicky (played by Lewis Cope).<\/p>\n

While he\u2019s there to look after Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) and Dawn Fletcher\u2019s (Olivia Bromley) children, it isn\u2019t long before he causes a stir.<\/p>\n

Namely, the dashing newcomer catches the eye of Gabby, who\u2019s famously not had the best of luck with men.<\/p>\n

As for whether she\u2019ll get what she wants this time, we\u2019ll have to wait and see, but in the meantime, actor Cope has spoken about what fans can expect from Nicky in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n

\u201cNicky is a great character. He\u2019s very relatable and likeable and I\u2019m just having fun with him,\u201d Cope explained to RadioTimes.com<\/a> and other press.<\/p>

The Manny has experience looking after kids, having helped to raise his siblings when he was just 16 after his mum died.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot everyone is on board in the interview, because Dawn obviously has a big problem with leaving the kids in the first place, so I think she is is very particular on the type of person she wants and she is the hardest to win over.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I think straight away, even from the first interview, there\u2019s some sort of connection there between Nicky and Gabby.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cAt the moment, Nicky is a lovely person and there\u2019s nothing to say that he\u2019s not. But he\u2019s almost too good to be true\u2026 you\u2019ll have to wait and see.\u201d<\/p>\n

Is Gabby walking into trouble yet again? Or is Nicky her dream man?<\/p>\n
