When they were chosen by FIFA in June 2022, the host cities were also split into three geographical divisions \u2013 Western, Central, and Eastern.<\/p>\n<p>The host cities are:<\/p>\n<ul><li>Atlanta, US (Central)<\/li>\n<li>Boston, US (Eastern)<\/li>\n<li>Dallas, US (Central)<\/li>\n<li>Guadalajara, Mexico (Western)<\/li>\n<li>Houston, US (Central)<\/li>\n<li>Kansas City, US (Central)<\/li>\n<li>Los Angeles, US (Western)<\/li>\n<li>Mexico City, Mexico (Central)<\/li>\n<li>Miami, US (Eastern)<\/li>\n<li>Monterrey, Mexico (Central)<\/li>\n<li>New York, US (Eastern)<\/li>\n<li>Philadelphia, US (Eastern)<\/li>\n<li>San Francisco, US (Western)<\/li>\n<li>Seattle, US (Western)<\/li>\n<li>Toronto, Canada (Eastern)<\/li>\n<li>Vancouver, Canada (Western)<\/li>\n<\/ul><h2><strong>World Cup 2026 stadiums<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>With a wealth of sizeable stadiums to choose from across Canada, Mexico, and the United States, no new grounds are being constructed for the 2026 World Cup.<\/p>\n<p>However, BMO Field in Toronto is being expanded to a capacity of 45,500 especially for the tournament, as FIFA guidelines dictate all host stadiums must be above 40,000.<\/p>\n<p>The venues that currently have artificial turf pitches are set to replace those with grass ahead of the tournament.<\/p>\n<p>It has not yet been announced where the final will be held but FIFA has confirmed that all knockout matches will be played in the US.<\/p>\n<p>The 2026 World Cup host stadiums (with approx. bid book capacity where applicable) are:<\/p>\n<ul><li>Mercedes-Benz Stadium (71,000) Atlanta, US<\/li>\n<li>Gillette Stadium (70,000) Boston, US<\/li>\n<li>AT&amp;T Stadium (92,967) Dallas, US<\/li>\n<li>NRG Stadium (72,220) Houston, US<\/li>\n<li>Estadio Akron (48,071) Guadalajara, Mexico<\/li>\n<li>Arrowhead Stadium (76,640) Kansas City, US<\/li>\n<li>SoFi Stadium (70,240) Los Angeles, US<\/li>\n<li>Estadio Azteca (87,523) Mexico City, Mexico<\/li>\n<li>Estadio BBVA (53,460) Monterrey, Mexico<\/li>\n<li>Hard Rock Stadium (67,518) Miami, US<\/li>\n<li>MetLife Stadium (87,157) New York, US<\/li>\n<li>Lincoln Financial Field (69,328) Philadelphia, US<\/li>\n<li>Levi\u2019s Stadium (70,909) San Francisco, US<\/li>\n<li>Lumen Field (69,000) Seattle, US<\/li>\n<li>BMO Field (45,500) Toronto, Canada<\/li>\n<li>BC Place (54,500) Vancouver, Canada<\/li>\n<\/ul><h2><strong>Where is the World Cup in 2030?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The host of the World Cup in 2030 has not yet been confirmed.
