Alex\u2019s elimination wasn\u2019t a huge shock to viewers considering she\u2019d turned down the chance to join the Traitors in Tuesday\u2019s episode \u2013 however, the reality star has revealed her one regret from her time on the show, and surprisingly, it\u2019s not choosing to be a Faithful.<\/p>\n
\u201cI kind of sealed my own death,\u201d she told RadioTimes.com<\/a> in an exclusive interview. \u201cI knew when I made this decision, by turning this down, I\u2019m essentially murdering myself because at that point, no one suspected me. I would have made a great Traitor for that reason but it just wasn\u2019t something I was emotionally capable of doing.\u201d<\/p>\n The actor and presenter added that she didn\u2019t think she could \u201cembody the role of Traitor\u201d at that point in the show due to exhaustion.<\/p>\n \u201cBy that point, I was so tired. I can\u2019t express to you the exhaustion. You know when your phone goes red in the battery section \u2013 that\u2019s what I was on. It was like I was getting 10 per cent battery alerts in my brain.<\/p>\n \u201cSo it just wasn\u2019t going to be possible and I wasn\u2019t capable of changing my persona that deep in the game to be able to embody the role of traitor unfortunately.\u201d<\/p>\n However, Alex said that she does wish she\u2019d kept the Traitors\u2019 offer under wraps instead of telling the rest of the group.<\/p>\n \u201cThe only thing I do wish that I had done was not told anyone that I received the letter and received the recruitment, because then I could have played it a bit smarter,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n \u201cBut like I said, I\u2019m running on so little brain capacity, I just didn\u2019t even know what to do. It was like my neurons just weren\u2019t firing and connecting synapses properly. My brain was like mush.\u201d<\/p> The number of contestants still in the game has halved since the show started with five murdered, six banished and just two Traitors remaining.<\/p>\n Tonight\u2019s episode will pick up after last night\u2019s dinner party, with the BBC teasing: \u201cWith one player already regretting their actions, and relationships tested, accusations quickly start to rise.\u201d<\/p>\n The Traitors continues tonight at 9pm on BBC One.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Looking for something else to watch?
