Mick\u2019s exit is expected to be nothing short of dramatic and potentially fatal, as he\u2019s involved in a love triangle with his scheming fianc\u00e9e Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) and his ex-wife Linda (Kellie Bright).<\/p>\n
While a teaser anticipated Mick\u2019s life may be in danger<\/a> after Janine\u2019s lies are exposed, Dyer revealed the soap had at least another ending planned for his final episode.<\/p> Speaking to RadioTimes.com<\/a> and other press, the actor explained that another ending was originally considered for Mick.<\/p>\n Dyer teased: \u201cI just wanted it to be a fitting end. So hopefully it is\u2026 there was an alternative end did to be fair, but we\u2019ve not gone with that.\u201d<\/p>\n However, he was tight-lipped about what this alternate ending would have entailed, saying there \u201cwas no point\u2026you won\u2019t get to see it\u201d.<\/p>\n Executive producer Chris Clenshaw interjected to explain that having different finales planned is common practice.<\/p>\n \u201cThere are always a lot of alternative endings as we do the development process,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Whatever these final moments may be about, it seems fair to guess Mick will not have a smooth exit as both Dyer and Brooks are set to leave the soap.
