The author posted the news in a blog post<\/a> earlier this week, updating fans on his holiday break and his work on House of the Dragon season 2<\/a> as well as his upcoming Game of Thrones novel The Winds of Winter<\/a>.<\/p>\n He added that he\u2019s developing \u201cseveral of the other successor shows\u201d at HBO, however \u201csome of those are moving faster than others\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cNone have been greenlit yet, though we are hoping\u2026 maybe soon. A couple have been shelved, but I would not agree that they are dead.\u201d<\/p>\n He continued: \u201cYou can take something off the shelf as easily as you can put it on the shelf.
