ITV\u2019s The Masked Singer<\/a> returned to our screens on New Year\u2019s Day, with the first six contestants in the line-up<\/a> taking to the stage.<\/p>\n

Hoping to impress with their vocal skills while keeping their identity under wraps was Knitting<\/a>, Jellyfish<\/a>, Otter<\/a>, Ghost<\/a>, Phoenix<\/a> and the singing competition\u2019s first double act\u00a0Cat & Mouse<\/a>.<\/p>\n

One by one, each contestant performed as the judging panel, including Davina McCall<\/a>, Jonathan Ross<\/a>, Mo Gilligan<\/a> and Rita Ora<\/a>, tried their hardest to guess who was behind the masks.<\/p>\n

As usual, host Joel Dommett was back to present the series and share clues with viewers \u2013 not that this made the guessing any easier.<\/p>\n

And at the end of the episode, one celebrity was unmasked.<\/p>\n

Football pundit and presenter Chris Kamara was the first celebrity to be unmasked on season 4 as the show\u2019s Ghost.<\/p>\n

Talking about taking part in the contest, Kammy said: \u201cMy grandkids, we\u2019ll sit around together and they\u2019ll have no idea. They love this show. They just sing \u2018take it off\u2019 and grandad\u2019s going to turn around!\u201d<\/p>\n

When listing the stars that Kammy\u2019s duetted with, Rita asked if they would duet together one day, to which Kammy replied: \u201cI\u2019d love that!\u201d<\/p>\n
