Helped out by his trusted advisors Karren Brady and Tim Campbell, he\u2019ll be putting 18 new candidates through their paces over the course of the coming weeks, in an attempt to work out which of them deserves a \u00a3250,000 investment in their business.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n One of those hopefuls is Bradley Johnson, a self-made businessman who hails from Yorkshire and prides himself on his determination and strong work ethic.<\/span><\/p>\n His company, he says, has a turnover of half a million pounds \u2013 and with Lord Sugar\u2019s help, he\u2019s hoping to boost that to a seven figure sum in three years\u2019 time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Will these business dreams come true, or will Bradley end up heading home in a black cab after a boardroom battle? We\u2019ll have to wait to find out, but before he makes his Apprentice debut, here\u2019s what we know so far about the contestant. <\/span><\/p>\n Job:<\/b> Director of a construction company<\/span><\/p>\n From: <\/b>North Yorkshire<\/span><\/p>\n After being made redundant in 2019, Bradley has been building up his construction business and is \u201cimmensely proud\u201d of how his venture is doing so far.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cStarting a business from absolutely nothing and taking it to a company that\u2019s turning over six figures demonstrates my determination and strong work ethic,\u201d he says. \u201cA lot of people in business \u2013 I\u2019m not saying everyone \u2013 have inherited their businesses. This is not the case for myself.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Along the way, Bradley says he\u2019s worked hard to combat his fear of public speaking, as he was \u201calways the shy kid at school\u201d and \u201chated having to stand up and read in English lessons\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n These days, he gets up early on a Friday morning to \u201chost a business networking event\u201d where he \u201ctalk[s] to over 50 businesses\u201d, which \u201chas really helped [him] to have the confidence to be able to stand up and speak to anyone\u201d.
