It’s already been three years since Deadpool last appeared in cinemas. <\/p>
Ryan Reynolds has a brand new film arriving in UK cinemas next week in the shape of video game movie Free Guy<\/a> \u2013 and it looks like we might not have to wait too much longer before we see him reprise his most iconic character.<\/p>\n The popular actor has suggested there\u2019s a chance the long-awaited Deadpool threequel<\/a> could start production before the end of 2022, claiming that the film was currently being \u201cactively developed.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThe percentage chance? I don\u2019t know. I couldn\u2019t assign a percentage to that,\u201d he told Collider<\/a> when asked how likely it was that filming would begin next year. \u201cI\u2019d say it\u2019s 50\/50 maybe? We\u2019re really actively developing it and getting it into pretty good shape.\u201d<\/p>\n He later added, \u201cWhat the hell month is it? August? Oh next year? Probably pretty damn good. I\u2019d say 70 per cent.\u201d<\/p> He also provided an update on the script, which is being penned by Bob\u2019s Burger writers Lizzie and Wendy Molyneux with input from Reynolds himself.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s something that is just a daily process. Writing is kind of like that, you\u2019ve gotta allot time to do it and walk away, and I\u2019m working with the Molyneuxs on it, it\u2019s been great,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n \u201cThey\u2019re incredibly talented and so, so smart.
