There might only be a couple of weeks of Love Island<\/a> left until the series winners are crowned \u2013 but that doesn\u2019t mean there\u2019s not time for a few more bombshells to enter the villa.<\/p>\n

One of the latest new islanders is Aaron Simpson, a professional footballer who will make his debut on the show on Sunday, 8th August, joining the villa alongside medical student Priya Gopaldas<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Before entering the villa, Aaron had already picked out Chloe and Mary as the two girls he has his eye on, and he says he reckons \u201ca couple of the girls\u2019 heads will be turning\u201d upon his arrival \u2013 could his addition lead to some drama?<\/p>\n

What does Aaron do for work?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Aaron is a professional footballer \u2013 and his career so far has seen him play for clubs including Kilmarnock, Dover Athletic and Sutton United, the latter of whom he helped win promotion to the Football League last season.<\/p>\n

\u201cI started playing when I was about four or five,\u201d he said. \u201cI signed my first professional contract when I was 17. I\u2019m 24 so it\u2019s been quite a journey.\u201d<\/p>\n

What is Aaron looking for in a partner?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u201c<\/i>Someone who is family orientated because my family is really important to me,\u201d Aaron explained. \u201cI\u2019m very close to my mum, dad and my sister. I\u2019ve got a massive family so someone that can deal with that.<\/p>\n

He added that he also likes dating people who don\u2019t have to rely on him, and would be willing to put him in his place when neccesary.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m very confident and I can chat for ages so sometimes it\u2019s probably easy to leave me to do all the talking in certain situations,\u201d he said. \u201cSo someone who has a big enough personality to hold their own and put me in my place.<\/p>\n

\u201cSomeone who also isn\u2019t too serious as I\u2019m a very spontaneous person.\u201d<\/p>\n

In terms of celebrity crushers, Aaron picks out Margot Robbie and Michelle Keegan, while he says that Chloe and Mary are the two islanders who are most his type in terms of personality.<\/p>\n
