Incoming Harry Potter game Hogwarts Legacy<\/a> looks to give you the full Hogwarts student experience, which includes one of the most important aspects of life at the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry: house sorting.<\/p>\n

For those keen to start term as soon as possible or those anxious about the sorting process, luckily there\u2019s no need to wait \u2013 aspiring pupils can get sorted into their house right now, and even choose a wand.<\/p>\n

As a joint venture with Wizarding World, those who already have a house and wand can also transfer their data over to the game \u2013 just like magic!<\/p>\n

See below for how to get sorted into your Hogwarts Legacy house early, or carry over your existing wizarding details.<\/p>

How to take the Hogwarts Legacy house sorting test<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Welcome to Hogwarts! You can\u2019t enter the Great Hall in Hogwarts Legacy just yet, but you can put on the Sorting Hat and let it see into your soul\u2026<\/p>\n

Just to be clear, you can wait and go through the sorting process in-game if you prefer \u2013 this can just save you some precious time on launch day.<\/p>\n

If have already been sorted into a house on Wizarding World, you can skip to the next section. If not,\u00a0follow the following steps:<\/p>\n

  1. Apparate over to the Wizarding World website<\/a> and create an account.<\/li>\n
  2. Click on \u2018Hogwarts Sorting\u2019 on the main menu at the top, then select \u2018Get Sorted Now\u2019.<\/li>\n
  3. Take the Hogwarts House Quiz. Remember, the Sorting Hat will listen to you\u2026<\/li>\n
  4. You\u2019ll then be sorted into either Slytherin, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw\u00a0or Gryffindor. Good luck!<\/li>\n
  5. If desired, you can also go through the Wand Ceremony to receive a wand or discover your Patronus.<\/li>\n<\/ol>
