Love Island star Haris Namani<\/a> has hit back at rumours that he dumped his ex-girlfriend to go on the show, revealing that he\u2019s \u201cshocked\u201d by the claim.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old TV salesman will be making his Love Island<\/a> debut on Monday \u2013 however since the full line-up<\/a> was announced earlier this week, Haris\u2019 ex-girlfriend and influencer Courtney Hodgson<\/a> took to Instagram<\/a> to label him the \u201cbiggest game player going\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cLeaving me for a TV show,\u201d she wrote in the comments to Love Island announcing Haris in the line-up. \u201cI called it from the second he left me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking to RadioTimes.com<\/a> and other press ahead of his debut on the ITV2 show, Haris spoke out about their former relationship.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo basically, the situation I had with Courtney, we were seeing each other throughout Summer, then it came after Summer, like September time to the start of October and I said to Courtney, \u2018I don\u2019t think it\u2019s going to work out.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter a few months, I never saw a future with Courtney, you could say, or like even bringing her home \u2013 she never met my mum or dad or my two sisters or my brother. I didn\u2019t think it would have [happened] anyway. And that\u2019s it.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added that the influencer sees their relationship from \u201ca different view\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou could probably say she was a bit more interested in me than I was in her. I\u2019m a bit shocked to be fair, but there\u2019s nothing else I can say on that one.\u201d<\/p>\n
