Hoping to win over the Dancing on Ice judges<\/a> with his moves is former British gymnast Nile Wilson.<\/p>\n Nile will make his debut alongside his professional dance partner Olivia Smart. He\u2019ll compete against the likes of Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cu\u0308lcu\u0308log\u0306lu<\/a>, former EastEnders star Patsy Palmer<\/a>, and reality TV star Joey Essex.<\/p>\n He\u2019ll be hoping to follow in the footsteps of last year\u2019s winner Regan Gasigoine<\/a>, who lifted the coveted glass trophy with his dance partner Karina Manta.<\/p>\n But, does he have what it takes?<\/p>\n Read on for everything you need to know about Nile Wilson.<\/p>\n Age: <\/strong>26 (Turns 27 on 17th January)<\/p>\n Job: <\/strong>Former artistic gymnast<\/p>\n Twitter: <\/strong>@NileMW<\/a><\/p>\n Instagram:<\/strong> @nilemw<\/a><\/p>\n Partnered with:\u00a0<\/strong>Olivia Smart<\/p>\n Nile Wilson is a former British artistic gymnast.<\/p>\n At the 2016 Summer Olympics, he won a bronze medal in the men\u2019s horizontal bar. He was also a world medallist as a member of the silver-medal winning British team at the 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. This was the first world men\u2019s team medal in British gymnastics history.<\/p>\n In 2021, Wilson announced his retirement from competitive gymnastics as a result of injuries.<\/p> Nile was the fourth celebrity to be confirmed for season 15.<\/p>\n He revealed the news on his YouTube channel, saying: \u201cI\u2019m going to be on ITV\u2019s Dancing on Ice! This is a really cool thing.
