<\/p>
Lord Alan Sugar welcomed his 2023 candidates<\/a> back into the boardroom tonight for the third episode of The Apprentice<\/a>\u00a0and this week, the remaining line-up were celebrating 100 years of the BBC.<\/p>\n Tonight\u2019s new task<\/a> saw the two teams create a short cartoon aimed at pre-school children, which would be judged by industry experts \u2013 and while one group managed to impress with their animation skills, another delivered a classic Apprentice blunder.<\/p>\n If you missed this evening\u2019s episode then make sure to catch up with our episode 3 recap video above.<\/p>\n This week, the teams were jumbled up, resulting in Dani Donovan<\/a>, Shazia Hussain<\/a>, Sohail Chowdhary<\/a>, Mark Moseley<\/a>, Marnie Swindells<\/a> and Bradley Johnson<\/a> forming Team Affinity with Avi Sharma<\/a> as project leader.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Denisha Kaur Bharj<\/a>, Gregory Ebbs<\/a>, Joseph Phillips<\/a>, Megan Hornby<\/a>, Rochelle Anthony<\/a>, Simba Rwambiwa <\/a>and Victoria Goulbourne<\/a> became Team Apex, led by Reece Donnelly<\/a>.<\/p>\n Team Affinity decided to create a story about Yogita the Giraffe \u2013 a giraffe who is self-conscious about her height but makes friends at school \u2013 although tensions rose between Shazia and Marnie over story details and design.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Team Apex decided on Femi and Faye \u2013 a story about Femi choosing to join in a clapping game with wheelchair user Faye after she\u2019s unable to play on a slide, but the group soon realise that they didn\u2019t animate any hands or feet for the characters.<\/p>\n These faults don\u2019t go unnoticed by the industry experts, who also criticise the \u201ccondescending\u201d moral behind the cartoon and choose Team Affinity as the winners.<\/p> \u00a0<\/p>\n Back at the boardroom, project leader Reece decided to bring Denisha and Gregory back in with him.<\/p>\n While Lord Sugar criticised Denisha\u2019s sub-team leadership skills and blamed Reece for the idea behind the story, he chose to fire Gregory, who failed to contribute anything useful to the task.<\/p>\n The Apprentice continues on BBC One and\u00a0<\/strong>BBC iPlayer<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0next Thursday at 9pm.
