Fans of hit historical drama Outlander<\/a> received some bittersweet news this January, as it was revealed that while the show would be coming back for an eighth season<\/a>, this would also be its last<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, that wasn\u2019t all. Starz and Lionsgate also announced that the long-mooted prequel series<\/a>, Blood of My Blood, had officially been greenlit, and would focus on the relationship between Jamie\u2019s parents Brian Fraser and Ellen MacKenzie, the latter of which has never been seen in the original show.<\/p>\n
