Katie McGlynn has been revealed as the latest celebrity set to take to the dance floor when Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> 2021 launches later this summer.<\/p>\n

Thrilled to be joining the Strictly Come Dancing 2021 line-up<\/a>, Katie said: \u201cIt\u2019s been so hard keeping it a secret, but I can finally say that I\u2019m getting ready to shake my shimmy and become part of the Strictly family! I\u2019m really not a dancer, but I\u2019m so excited to learn a new skill on this crazy journey and cannot wait to slip into some sequins along the way.<\/p>\n

She’s starred in Coronation Street, Waterloo Road and Hollyoaks. \u201cAlthough I do get to have so much fun as an actress, a lot of my roles have involved quite serious and challenging storylines, so I\u2019m fully ready to let my hair down and do something different, even if it is completely outside of my comfort zone,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t promise that I\u2019ll be the best, but I\u2019m going to give it 110 per cent on the dance floor! As long as I don\u2019t fall over I\u2019ll be happy.\u201d<\/p>\n
