The nominations for the 95th Academy Awards have been announced, with plenty of healthy discussion around the films in the race to the trophy cabinet.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of these titles is <\/span>Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which nabbed five Oscar nominations<\/a> in total, including <\/span>costume design, visual effects, best song, and makeup and hairstyling.<\/p>\n

The film is an emotional one following the tragic passing of Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman in 2020<\/a> and Wakanda is also adjusting to the death of King T\u2019Challa.

However, the nation faces a new threat in the form of an underwater kingdom led by the intimidating monarch Namor (Tenoch Huerta Mej\u00eda).<\/p>\n
